Hi,I have just reinstalled windows 2k on my laptop and have been trying to connect to my wireless network. What's Happening To Floppy Discs?
The use of floppy discs seems to be declining every day. Macintosh computers are no longer even made with floffy drives and windows computers will most likely follow suit sooner or later. Files are much bigger these days than they were back when floppy discs were first invented and so nothing but very basic things (text, spreadsheets, etc.) can even fit onto a floppy. Also, the fact that it is amazingly simple to burn files to a disc (most computers these days come with CD burning capabilities)

I have a PC-based recording studio with a very specific problem. I am getting a sort of scratching noise through the speakers when I move the mouse, load software or scroll web pages. I am planning to upgrade my old computer. I am currently running a P3 with 450 MHz and 128 mb RAM. I am planning on upgrading it, and I don't really know where to start. I'll need a new motherboard and ram (which will depend on the processor I get). I don't know what to properly call this, but it is a seprate unit that holds all the PCI cards. Ok, I've had this problem for about a year. I've tried every single configuration offered by the BIOS, Windows, and even the hardware itself, but my speaker's refuse to be balanced! Though Windows says they are, I know my speaker's are unbalanced. The right is louder than the left. Hi,I'm running my PC with a Giga Byte -7N400-PRO2 motherboard. It seems incredibly picky with memory. Right now I have a Kingston 512mb chip which has run without error for quite a while now.
